For
individual fans and fanatics of the miniature, dollhouse miniature, furniture,
dolls, and all the real thing on display in a small scale (prototype), may be a
visit to the museum.

Miniature
Greater St. Louis is located at 4746 Gravois Avenue, St. Louis, MO, and this is
one of the most popular locations for fans of miniatures and puppets in the
country to be visited. The museum first opened its doors to the public on 27
June 2001 and contains a wide range of dollhouse miniatures in all scales
available. The building also has a gift shop and library devoted to miniatures
hobby. Floor of the house class that will be used to host a new show and class.
Location is very popular because it is also sponsoring two miniature shows each
year. This is the Gateway Miniature Fair, and a "miniatures only"
garage sale.
The
Museum is open to the public all year round from Wednesday to Sunday. It is
closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve,
Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Children under the age of 16
who wish to visit the stand must be accompanied by an adult. There is an
entrance fee for all visitors. But members admitted free.
Miniature
Museum root of Greater St. Louis can be traced back to a common goal 1989.The cluster
together, forming a museum located in the center-which can be used for home and
feature a wide range of works and collection of miniatures that people of all
ages can enjoy. The organization purchased a building in February 2000, and was
renovated before opening a museum in 2001. The organization is also renovating
other areas of the building for prolonged use.

Museum
and its members continue fundraising events throughout the year. The most
popular and important is Gateway Fair Show and Sale, held good in the spring
and autumn. During this event, dealers from across the U.S. gathered to sell
their products and do workshops for the public. The "miniatures only"
garage sale is also a popular event each year.
Currently
the museum has more than 200 members and is governed by an all-volunteer Board
of Directors. This group aims to increase membership and if you are interested
to join, you should be able to find their website using Google. Members
admitted free to the museum and they also receive invitations to special
events, have access to the library, and given the organization's quarterly
newsletter.
This
site also features photos of museum collections host. These include a replica
of the Basilica of St Louis IX, also known as "The Old Cathedral," in
downtown St. Louis. The exhibition was developed by Dr. Richard Wunderlich, DDS
in 1975 and exhibited in 1981 at the NAMA convention in St. Louis. It has also
been exhibited in museums in the Basilica. Replica is built entirely by hand on
a scale of 3/8 of an inch to the foot. It takes approximately 3,800 hours to
develop a made from a variety of items such as syringes, golf tee, sticks,
wooden applicator, antique buttons, Bur teeth, pill bottles, and Christmas decorations,
among others. The museum also hosts special exhibitions and a photo gallery
from the van is seen on the website.
